Privacy

This page describes how Laplytix actually handles your data today. It is written in plain language, not by a lawyer, and should be reviewed by one before this product is offered publicly at scale.

Private by default

Your sessions, video and telemetry are visible only to you. There are no public profiles and nothing is published. If you accept a coach, they can open the sessions you share with them — video, telemetry and all — and you can turn that off for any session or remove the coach at any time.

What is collected

Your account email; the video and GPS/motion telemetry you upload; the lap times, corner analysis and coaching notes computed from it; and, if you provide them, a display name, handle, kart dashboard files (AiM/Alfano CSV) and coach/driver links. Track names may be looked up from GPS coordinates via Google Places when that integration is configured. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, the name and profile picture that account shares are kept with your sign-in, and the name starts as your display name.

Who processes it

Video is hosted and streamed by Mux. The database, authentication and file storage are provided by Supabase. Payments are processed by Stripe — Laplytix never sees or stores your card details. None of these providers receives more than the data needed to do their job.

Retention

On the Free plan, an analysed session and its video are kept 30 days. On Pro, 24 months. If you cancel Pro, existing sessions are not deleted immediately — they age out under the Free plan’s window from that point.

Deleting your data

Deleting a session removes its video, telemetry and analysis. Deleting your account removes your profile and everything owned by it. Contact support to request either if it is not yet available directly in the product.
